The Autolite™ Brand Launches the "Gentlemen, Start Your Engines" Promotion To Help Drive Small Engine Spark Plug Sales
DANBURY, Conn., January 17, 2007 — Do-it-yourselfers and extreme sport enthusiasts have a chance to win a number of great prizes as part of the Autolite® brand's "Gentlemen, Start Your Engines" sweepstakes, which will run from March 1, 2007 to September 30, 2007.
In an effort to build brand awareness during spring tune-up season, the Autolite marketing team has created a promotion that will help drive sales for the brand's all-new premium small engine spark plug line. These products include the Autolite® Xtreme Sport™ iridium enhanced small engine spark plug for ATVs, motorcycles, boats and snowmobiles and the new Autolite® Xtreme Start™ spark plug line for lawn care equipment, such as lawnmowers, weed wackers, chain saws and snow blowers.
Participants in the promotion will have a chance to win one of four grand prizes including a BMX® all-terrain vehicle, a BMX® sport bike, a Kawasaki® jet ski or a Yard-Man® lawn tractor.
One second-place winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to a NASCAR® Nextel Cup race event of their choice in 2008, including an all-access pass to race events and the Honeywell Consumer Products Group hospitality trailer.
In addition, the Autolite brand will be giving away a Yard-Man power tool or lawn care equipment every month during the promotion period.

The brand plans to support the promotion with a two-dimensional header card, which can be used as a counter display or used on the Autolite small engine spark plug display rack. More information on this promotion will be posted on www.autolite.com before the sweepstakes commences.
